Hi, I'm Katie and I am a Christian, holistic birth and postpartum doula located in Lexington! I am a mother of two rowdy boys and one sweet little girl! Bee & Blossom Doula was born from my desire to help mamas have the best birth and postpartum experience they possibly can! I am SO excited to walk alongside mamas and their families on their birth journeys!
My passion for birthwork began with the fast (3.5 hours) but peaceful homebirth of my second baby! After my terrible first birth experience (3-day induced hospital birth), my first homebirth was so empowering and redemptive! My two homebirth experiences showed me the power in God's design for birth!
I have been blessed to be able to breastfeed for almost 4 years between my three children (still nursing my baby girl)!
My desire is to use the knowledge I've gained to help my clients with their breastfeeding journeys! Becoming an IBCLC is one of my goals in the near future!
I will be serving the Piedmont Triad area up to one hour from my home in Lexington!
